Takamine P3DC w/Softcase

You expect a quality instrument at this price. They are a work horse for many musicians. The cedar top markes easy as no scratch plate. I was dissappointed at how high the action was . I had to take a Luthier who did a full set up for me lowering the bridge and nut plus truss rod adjustment. ThoThis is poor form for a guitar of this quality. I have another Takemine New Yorker from the ' 80 's which i never had to adjust . I just can't understand why action was so high unplayable for me. There are general rules how high the action as standard should be . So why is this not so leaving factory. The guitat is growing on me and will be fine just had a disappointing start .
