Best emulations of the hardware

I've tried many emulations of the SSL hardware and though every plugin has its character these sound much more "organic" and natural when tweaked. Together with the tight integration with SSL's hardware they are a no-brainer. I did buy them for a hefty discount as they are a bit expensive otherwise so my recommendations is to wait for a deal unless you really need them and can't wait for that.

Real SSL product

There are many similar products that are licensed to use SSL brand name. This essentials set is original SSL. Very natural and cleansound if you compare to any licensed product. I like to use these plugins instead of the ones included in any DAW software that I use. I highly recommend to have at least a test drive (demo is available from manufacturers web site). Learn to use these and You'll get superior professional sounding mixes :-)

My every day compression

I love SSL plug-ins. The compressor is my secret weapon for my mixes. I use it to each of my channels and also as bus compressor for full mix or sub mix groups . The sound is warm and transparent at the same time and it gives you faithfully the SSL feel without any dirty to your mix.
Totally recommended .
