Squier Affinity ACT Jazz Bass OWT

I bought this as a home use Jazz Bass as it looks stunning. The neck and set-up are superb with a slinky satin finish. Low action and plays great out of the box. The body paint and finishing are excellent. The Tuners are ok but may need upgrading for regular gig work. The pickups are a bit weak IMO. The electronics really need screening in all the cavities, otherwise the hum and buzzing are really bad. After screening with copper film, pickup upgrade and high mass brass bridge, this is now a great Jazz Bass with all the usual tones of a Jazz bass. At this price it's a steal.
My score is pre-upgrades...
