Sommer Cable SC-Source MKII FRNC

The SC-Souurce MkII is an excellent mic cable, with really great sound qualities and easy to put connectors on; however, the FRNC version is almost too stiff for podium use, compared to the two other varieties (PUR and Highflex), so if live sound application is your main need, either of the latter would be a better option (although some might find also the PUR a tad on the stiff side).

Be warned, this is extremely stiff cable! Doesn't lie nicely on the ground or flow where you want it to.

I never experienced any audio cable as stuff as this. It's as stiff or stiffer then typical solid core 75 ohm co-ax cable!

Very stiff cable!!! So hard to work with if you want to arrange it into a certain position

It's a good quality cable, but I can confirm what others have said before, the cable does not fold up easily and won't twist the way you'd want it to. On the other hand it seems very durable, the outer layer is more of a plastic than rubber material.
