Hard not
A little hard sounding in neck position for me, eq adjustment needed, but my needs are my needs.
This is a nice and strong sounding pickup, I screw it well away from the strings to soften the hard, its good there through my Roland jc 22.
I'm a mostly chord/melody style player, with no lead guitaring, but gypsy jazz with a lady singer. My guitar sound has to gell with "her voice & mine".
A few gigs with it and I'll be happy.
Months later, I'm happy.
Screwed it against the strings "almost" i love it now, even sounds nice playing as acoustic, through the JC, beautiful 😍
Just got my second one, for another guitar, I love the sound and pick response, and good output signal. For my ibanez, which lacks sound character, this p'up will certainly cure the problem. 👍🎸
