I bought this pickup to upgrade from my kent armstrong pickup. Open sounding pickup with beautiful treble, really breathy acoustic sound. Great sound for comping and chords but lacking those punchy mids for bebop lines to really pop out. I found the volume balance between the strings uneven so i had to tilt and twist the pickup to get it right.
