SE Electronics RF-X Reflexion Filter

These things are severly overrated. The microphone is, after all, pointed directly away from it. It doesn't hurt though, and even if it just improves the sound by 1%, that might be worth it for some. Now that I have it, I might as well use it. But I don't expect any wonders.

I use this when recording vocals in an otherwise untreated room, the difference before and after is good, of course it does not do the whole job as you will need further treatment but it's a huge step up if you have nothing at all in terms of room treatment. It was easy to put up on the mic stand and I think the weight is good as well.

If you record at home without any treatment then get this as a basic start to get your recordings sounding better!

SE Electronics Reflexion Filter X is sturdy. While singing in the closet is not ideal, the reflection filter really improved my recordings in a big way. Only downside would be that is is pretty heavy.

Brilliant mic reflection filter, without noticeably colouring the sound.
