Worth the Price and Fully Functional

Unless you are extremely picky or want to pay top-dollar for your equipment, these rods will suit any player's needs. I bought them out of necessity because my band had to play a quiet acoustic gig. I personally don't enjoy playing with rods unless I'm specifically trying to achieve that distinctive sound, but I bought these, taped them where I grip the sticks and also toward the top to prevent breakage/splintering.

I challenge you to test these rods blind against others that cost twice as much and tell me that the more expensive ones are better.

Need rods? Don't throw away any more money than you need to and just tailor these ones to your liking.

more versatile than most rods

with the rubber band out towards the tip, these play like most other rods .. which is mostly a bit meh, but sometimes is the answer to a specific situation.

With the rubber band pulled back towards the base, however, these play with a feel more like brushes, a kind of midway between a brushes feel and a rods feel. That's a useful option to have.

Mauvaise qualité du bois.

Habitué à tous types de baguettes, balais, rods, mailloches, j'ai utilisé ces rods en répétition dans un contexte sonore normal, en parallèle à des modèles Millenium FY-2 et Vater VWHWP utilisés depuis des mois sans aucun problème.
Premier brin cassé au bout de.. 10 secondes, sur un simple accordage avec frappe légère.
Premier morceau acoustique, 1 brin cassé dans chaque rods > très surpris et pas content.
Après 30 minutes de jeu, casse de brins dans la zone de prise de baguette, sous le pouce.. A ce point de fragilité il y a un problème.
Ce modèle est agréable dans la main, les brins sont très mobiles car non bandés, la sonorité claire et typée rods bois.
Mais la solidité est problématique, le bois est extrêmement cassant, au point de se demander quelle utilisation de ce modèle est possible.
