They are pretty realistic for the low volume they offer, i added some pillows inside the drums and a shirt in snare and now are even quieter. they do the job they are made for perfectly.

I teach using these heads. I find they are a great balance of feel and volume. Whilst other mesh heads are slightly quieter, the feel they offer can be spongy and unresponsive. Considering the reasonable price, you wont find a better option at this price point.
