I bought this set specifically so that I could practice at home without annoying the neighbours too much. They work very well on the toms. The snare is damped but for my taste still too loud because the res head and snare wires are of course undamped. I am going to try out additional damping on the res head. Overall they do what they are supposed to do and the quality of workmanship is excellent. They are also made in Germany which is an added bonus.
