Works perfectly as expected. Sounds great and does not pick up uncessary sound in the recordings.

A very handy accessory. Allows you to use plug-in power mics such as the Rose Videomic NTG or various lav mics, straight into the phantom-powered XLR inputs of pro field mixers, recorders (I got it for use with the Sound Devices Mix-Pre series) or ENG camcorders that have XLR inputs but no 3.5mm inputs. Feels very well made. Just something to have in your toolbox 'in case'.

There's no reason not to have a few of these if you're using lav mics. Gives you a solid connection using xlr cables and you don't need to worry about batteries or inference. Even if you need to use a wireless setup this is still great as a backup!
