It works, but read up on the issues with these type of direct connections before you buy as there is a risk it might damage your pedals.
the main reason it can cause damage is that most often the input/output jacks of pedals are not at a perfectly right angle to the floor (this is the case for TC pedals among others). this either makes the pedals not lay flat on the pedalboard or cause stress on the I/O jacks.
