Ramirez RS-HT Hard Tension Strings

These strings provide a great warm and at the same time brilliant and powerful sound and make a great match for my ramirez studio tiempo cedar guitar. The set has unique tension , especially on the D string which is higher than any other popular brand. This very high tension however causes the D string to quickly degrade in quality and sound. I' d say for the professional guitarist, practicing for about 4-5 hours daily, expect the bases to last approximately 2 weeks before requiring change. The trebles feel equally great, hard without being tubby, but the high e string almost feels like a carbon string and requires care to not sound thin and too metallic, Overall a great set with awesome projection, but the very low life of the bases prevents me from giving 5 stars.
