I tried these Pyramid strings to compare against other coated strings. Sadly I won't be buying them again. The string glide is awful. Feels like heavily used strings out of the box. It's feels quite sluggish to play on them as well. The gold color isn't that apparent either.

The tone is quite good however. Sounds a bit better than most coated strings to be honest, but it's not enough to actually use them.

I can't speak for the longevity. I gave up and changed strings after a few days.
