For mixers with XLR outputs on the upper surface rather than the rear of the mixer, right angled XLR plugs conveniently allow your cables to travel away from the mixer (rather than upwards towards the sky).
I have a mixer (Allen and Heath ZED-10 FX) in which the master output XLR sockets oriented in such a manner that they do not allow conventional right angled plugs. The plugs would jam into each other?
The ability to rotate the plugs to any angle helps my cables to sit beautifully - I wish I could post a picture?!
And of course a highly reliable and excellent cable
I use this short cable for my desktop mic. The angled jack is perfect for this to be able to fit the setup in a small space.
Good quality feel to the cable and really no issues at all.
Many uses but mine is for keeping the cable from sticking out on a kick mic. Not a big deal when you have a large stage. I do all I can to keep the kick mic out of the way and a 90º connection helps. Neutrik connectors, nice cable. A safe buy.
These are high quality and do exactly what they're meant to. Arrived in a timely manner as one would come to expect from using Thomann. Would have no hesitation in recommending these.
