pro snake CAT6E Cable 20m

Cable is protected nicely with quite thick rubber, which is a bit thicker than klark teknik cat5 cable if you compare. I used cable to connect my side stagebox to bars with signals above theatre stage along with 4x Stairville RJ45 DMX Split Box FX4. I have not yet have any issues with cable and it works okay. Thomann does give very good price for this cable.

I use this cable to carry AES50 signal between my mixer and the stagebox.
It is technically not the correct spec of cable for this use, however it works flawlessly for a 20m run, no data errors at all, even with musicians jostling it around and stepping on it.
The ethercon shielding is connected to the cable's shielding.

A good backup of the main cat5E/6E cable

You can even run phantom power through it since the shielding provides an additional ground connection for phantom power to work. If you need it for such application, make sure you use splitters that support shielded cables, such as "the sssnake Cat Snake". I can confirm it works.

Quality feel to this thick and robust cable, sturdy connectors, works as it should. Strong memory to cable so will need to buy a reel or similar to store it tidily!

The cable itself is okay, but it came coiled very tightly and made coiling the cable in the future a pain.

This cable is a good bargain if you don't want to spend too much money.
It is a little bit rigid but it seems to be much stronger than a usual UTP cable for the same price.
