Works great for the mobile setup I've been building for a while. Previously I have used similar cables of lower quality from random chinese vendors. They do the same, but bend and break in ways this one doesn't.
After several setups in rough situations with these cords, they show no sign of degradation or glitching.
Well worth the extra cost for reliability, and the company behind them are good people who have been helpful in the past when I've dealt with them.

One of the best products I've ever bought
I now buy ripcords instead of wall warts. They have given my millions of odd ubiquitous USB adapters an actual purpose in life. And my tiny play area is now neatly free of chunks and loops of ugly black wire.
Note that if you plan to use a usb "strip", like a powered hub, be aware that the cheap ones usually cap out at fairly low draws, so unless you've really gone for a heavy duty one, don't expect to run more than 2 of these on max load.
