Myers Pickups The Grip Custom 6

Jag har använt den och monterat den på min resonator gitarr. Riktade mickrofonen mot dom mindre hålen ovanför konan och kunde då micka ut med hyfsat hög volym innan rundgång. trubbadur giggs (typ pubspelning) nivå på volym. Men om jag riktade den mot hålen på kroppen utanför konan så blev det rundgång direkt. Går bra att göra vid studio inspelning men funkar inte i live situation. Har använt den på enresonator med inbyggd tesla lipstick pickup och mixat ljuden skitat till ljudet lite från teslan till förstärkare och lagt en ren signal på Myers pickupen direkt till Pa och fått fram en väldigt bra mix så det har låtit rockigare men ändå behållt mycket av det normala akustiska resonator ljudet på toppen. Myers pickupen ger ifrån sig ett bra autentiskt ljud och är behändigare att ha monterad än att till exempel micka up med en stativmick på golvet då man vill röra på sig lita när man spelar. Är en fullgod mick har en upptagning i stil med en shure sm57 skulle jag vilja påstå dock behädigare i live situation.

Great sounding pickup. I have been using this pickup for a year with my RK-35 resonator banjo in a full band with drums. The piezo pickup I used previously used to pick up the drums, but I have had zero problems with the Myers mic. Once being set up to find the sweet spot, it sounds very well and keeps much of the original banjo sound. It

Mine is fastened with velcro (kardborre), so it is easy to remove and reattach to the banjo. The suction cup did not work with the round body of my banjo, but I would believe it works well on a flat surface.

All in all, I am very happy with this pickup. Easy to attach and sounds great with any string instrument I have tried it on.
