Nice tambourine
I take part in open mics, currently mostly a cappella, but I've been learning a variety of instruments to accompany myself. Perhaps inevitably, I eventually came to the tambourine, which I'm hoping will help me perform Madonna's Cherish with a bit of panache.
I settled on this Meinl tambourine because it seemed to offer a good balance between quality and affordability. Then, since I like to look after my instruments, I also bought the Meinl MSTTB Tambourine Gig Bag, and it fits perfectly.
It's a smart-looking tambourine with a lovely natural skin head, and it feels well made. I've removed one star because I'm finding the jingles a little too jangly - or perhaps a bit tinny - for my taste. That said, I'm still learning, so it may well be that I'll appreciate the sound more as my playing improves.
