It is an expensive pack but no more so than other brands, especially considering the quality of the cymbals, the fact that you get two rides.
They sound epic, they're not super heavy (physically). They have a good crash and beautiful bright tones.
I had done my research on the other cymbals in this pack by watching review videos etc., and am happy to say that the cymbals sound better in person than what I had imagined from watching videos.
