Great for what it is!
Bought this together with a mid-range Bodrhan from this website. Very comfortably playable for my sister. whom I bought this for, so if you are wondering if this is a good choice for a female player, I guess the answer is positive!
Before you buy it, do your research on the style you want to play, as different beaters accomodate different styles. Personally, I bought this one in conjunction with the FDT3 one, in order to give my sister some more options.
