If you get a quality brand machine, I reason that you ought to supply this with the proper stuff. Sure, some might argue that there is little difference between budget smoke fluid and top brand products with higher price tag. But in my experience there is indeed a difference, foremost in purity. Even the best machine will succumb to mineral buildup over time; and this happens much faster with a product of lesser purity. So far no machine I've operated on genuine Martin fluids have suffered malfunction due to mineral deposition or other factors relating to the fluid.
