Maximum flexibility!
I use this mic support for spaced omni recordings with a center mic.
It can hold heavy mics and mounted on a Manfrotto stand I don't have to worry about anything falling. The build quality is very high and it's very flexible.
It's quite big and can obscure the view for the audience during live recordings.
