Exact fit for my Xone PX5 or Xone 24C with extras
The Magma CTRL Case CDJ/Mixer II is a sturdy and well-padded carrying case with a convenient shoulder strap, making it easy to transport mixers to and from gigs. My gear feels well-protected inside, and the overall build quality is solid.
One downside is the lack of rubber feet on the bottom (or even on the side). This became very noticeable while traveling—at the airport, I placed the case on top of my luggage trolley, and when it hit a bump, the case slid off onto the street.
That said, the padding did its job, and my mixer was completely fine after the fall, which says a lot about the level of protection.
I use this case every day for gigs, and it has held up well so far. It’s a reliable option, but adding some grip on the exterior would make it even better.
