Mackie Thump Go

For an 8-inch battery-powered PA with Bluetooth connectivity, the Thump GO offers excellent value for money.
I shall be using it for small parties hidden under a small dj booth out of sight which i why i only purchased 1 unit.
The sound is crisp and plenty powerful used either wired or in bluetooth mode and the useful 2 channel mixer has various sound options to choose from.
I get a good 6 hours of battery life with the speaker cranked up but i shall be using it plugged into the power for those longer gigs.

I’m writing this because I couldn’t find much information when I was looking, and I figured it might be helpful.
I’ve used it in band rehearsals: The performance for guitar is solid—better than the Headrush or Valeton FRFR options—and it delivers about the same real output as a 50-watt amp. The speaker has a monitor mode and includes a built-in EQ via the app, which is useful since for multi-effects you typically want the flattest response possible. Some may find the stock EQ setting a bit bass-heavy, but that can be adjusted in the app.

➕ Downside: the EQ only has bass and treble controls—no midrange. That’s definitely a limitation, and I hope they add at least a mid control in future updates.
For electric bass, I’d recommend looking at the next larger model. At higher volumes or deeper tones, it can start to clip or distort.

➕ Another point for anyone planning to use it with microphones: there’s no built-in reverb, so I’d suggest pairing it with a small mixer if you want to add vocal effects.
As for battery life, it depends on your volume levels. The louder you go, the shorter the battery will last. That’s expected.

Overall, I’d recommend this speaker for musicians who want to EQ and dial in their tones and be ready to plug straight into a PA system. It’s a great reference monitor. Bonus: You never know when a party will break out—and with this speaker, you’ll be ready with solid volume and sound quality.

So i have this speaker for over a month and i've been working with it almost everyday. I use it with my saxophone for busking and live events in restaurants hotels etc.
The sound and bass are really good for its size. I tested other speakers that are more expenssive and honestly mackie is the best and the loudest.
Its a simple speaker with awesome eq and awesome features BUT without effects such as reverb. The worst part that really bothers me is that when you send out the main sound out to another speaker via the thru output the bluetooth is not included... So if you want to connect another speaker you are forced to use the aux or line input instead of bluetooth. The solution i found was by using the Xvive p3 bluetooth receiver.
I will definetely buy a second one which will be connected via the bluetooth link.

Im too lazy so this is a list of drawbacks.
- Low BT audio bitrate (sounds bad with bt)
- Poor plastic body, a Reddit user even got his cracked along the handle.
- Useless app.
- Max 2 linked, so don't even bother buying 3.
- BT does not exit thru the xlr output, so you cannot use additional subwoofers while using BT, absurd since I bet it was not difficult engineering wise.
- Likewise, you cannot plug a mic in one speaker, and expect it to sound on both with its link function, not gonna happen, will only sound in one.

This is my opinion from a renter's perspective, the price is not bad, since you have to pay for factories, R&D, taxes, and overall running a business.
However, in you're gonna release something this Sh*t, then just don't do anything whatsoever. Might try alto's, since I'm not spending such money on an everse or bose.
