Although they are rated as SMALL - they are the perfect size ! I'm not sure
how big the Large ones are, but these do a great job. I'm pleased I brought
them, and would recomend them to anybody.

Just as I hoped

I ordered both the large and small Chocalhos by LP for my Batucada group.
Both are great instruments (though with different tonal characteristics), but the small one is better specifically for more volume-controlled situations: still has a nice volume but not as LOUD as the large version (which I personally will use for bigger ensembles playing outdoors). The build quality of both is great too.
