I've only had six days to play in my Küng Superio Alto recorder so far but I can already say that, like all Küng recorders, it has a distinctive timbre and a very stable and powerful low register. It's ideal for consort playing or as a solo instrument. I ordered the soprano version at the same time and that too is very impressive. If you want a recorder with a sweet sound and a strong low register the Superio is ideal. Küng say it needs high breath pressure but it isn't noticeably high and it probably helps with the stability of the low register.
