generic 8351 stands

when we talk about solid construction these stands should be the reference ! Almost military equipment ( excuse me fellow musicians ) in both weight and size . One can place the 8351 speakers on them and never worry about them ever again! ( you could not move these stands even if you fell on them by mistake ) .Life long stands for incredible speakers!

Excellent quality and very stable! No real cons. However, adjustable feet for leveling would make these the ultimate stands. These bad boys are crazy heavy, but as someone else said… "The weight is a sign of reliability".

Der Paketbote hatte mein tiefstes Mitleid, als ich mit ihm die Pakete ins Haus schleppte. Beim Auspacken stellte ich dann fest dass sich die Thomänner wohl einen Scherz erlaubt hatten und mir statt Boxenstative zwei Kanonenblenden eines Panzer VII sowie zwei Bazookas geschickt haben.
Im Ernst: Bodenplatten aus Gußeisen und Standbeine sind so dermassen massiv, dass vielleicht das Haus beim Erdbeben einstürzt - aber NICHT die Dinger.
Die grosse Bodenplätte läßt mittelgrosse Kompaktboxen (Dynaudio Core 7) etwas verloren aussehen. Muss man sich dran gewöhnen. FUNKTIONELL allerdings dürften die Dinger das Ende der Fahnenstange ausmachen. Stabiler geht?s nicht.
Verarbeitungsqualität war übrigens sehr gut, keine Flecken etc. Da hat die Qualitätssicherung von K+M wohl zugelegt.
Fazit: teuer aber wirklich sehr gut. Sehr grosse quadratische Bodenplatte, die das Aufstellen im Einzelfall schwierig machen könnte.
Klare Kaufempfehlung.
