Very easy to fold, and setup and typical high K&M quality. The actual steel material is the most important here, as it doesn't wear after several taking up, taking downs. I've used it on the "root" stand which has just "one legged" and not the sturdier twolegged stands for huge and heavy 88 note electric grand piano like keyboards. You have to be careful not to put anything heavy on it. A smaller keyboard with 49 or 61 keys that is "lightweight plastic" is what it can take.
There's some adjustment time, because of the jagged edges at the adjustment rotational clutches, in order for it to get straight in line, but it's a no big deal having to adjust them. It's just once and set for all time. K&M quality, very well worth its money of course, as usual.
