Joyo JF-25 Bright Day Overdrive

This sounds very close to a modded Blues Driver to me, but I'm not making a direct comparison. It's a nice overdrive for low gain sounds. There is plenty of drive on tap but it does tend to get muddy at higher settings. The tone knob has a limited sweep - something I've noticed in other Joyo pedals - but is just enough in this case.

Overall it is quite dynamic and cleans up nicely with the guitar volume. It works well as a tone sweetener in front of my 5W tube amp. For the price, I'm pleased.
