Mini bass, massive impact
Moved to short scale to help with repetitive strain injury issues, and I have no regrets. This little monster has enabled me to play bass again more than I ever thought I’d be able to again. I’ve put light strings on it and dropped to DGCF to reduce the tension, so it sounds a bit floppy and mellow (vs my tuned down full-scale), but I’ll take that downside for what it affords otherwise! Taken to weekly rehearsals with gigs peppered in and no issues after 2+ years.

Good guitar
I got this as I suffer from arthritis in my hands, smaller to play but sounds good, strings seem to rattle a bit but overall it's ok, when I'm not able to play my full size bass this is a great addition, be good for a beginner

Decent beginners bass guitar
Needed an inexpensive bass for a home recording project. My example had an inconsistent finish on the back of the neck and the first position fret marker is slight;ly out of place. Thomann agreed to reduce the price to "B" grade stock and I decided to keep the guitar. It is easy to play, has a reasonable variation in tone and sounds good. The fretboard wood was dry, dull and lifeless until I applied some lemon oil which completely transformed it making the guitar look much more expensive than it is. As far as neck dive goes there is some but it is better than most. Overall I am more than happy to recommend this guitar
