Good things:
1) It comes with active pickups, which are not bad. Probably less lows comparing to EMG 81.
2) Fast enjoyable neck led me to changing my preferences.
3) Good "metal" look with reversed headstock
4) Good weight balance
Bad things:
1) No string retainer on headstock which will assist with string tuning (but looks it's just a Jackson thing - even expensive models don't have it).
2) A volume control produces some shh-shh-shh noise to the amp from time to time
3) Pickup selector wasn't properly screwed (I noticed it when opened the back cover)
4) Inside cavities look not very processed - like they were made with an ax and then just got painted.
Actually I was choosing between this guitar and ESP LTD M-200FM STBLK (for some unknown reason Thomann doesn't have it), but eventually chose Jackson. Not many regrets so far.
