Ibanez GSRM20-MPL

I am a beginner bassist and I can say that I am really happy with this beautiful short-scale Ibanez bass! The quality and sound are excellent for the price. I have the one with the purple finish and I cannot stop looking at it - very beautiful! The hardware is very good and sturdy and I am not sure if the machine head is just the stock one but it does a very good job of keeping the instrument in tune while practicing. I used to play guitar so it is a very smooth transition for me. It may not be anybody's preference but it is for me for sure and I would recommend it to beginners with a guitar "background" due to its size, beginners in general, and kids.

For the price, I did not expect much since I bought this for practice at home only. I am a guitarist and just wanted a bass guitar just in case I needed it. My wife also wants to learn bass so this is an opportunity to buy one. I choose this model so it will be easy for me and for her to learn since this is a short scale bass. When it arrived, I am amazed with the build quality. I am surprised how small it is, smaller than my electric guitar. But its fine. Paint job is good. It is already set up so no need to adjust. The sound of pick ups is good.
Overall. This is a quality instrument from Ibanez for a little price. It inspire me to buy electric guitar from this brand. Thanks thomman! cheers!
