These dampers allow to play with a minimal volume, good feeling and rebounds and keeping the tone of the drum. Before purchasing this pads I tested also mesh heads for quite pratice in my house. Both systems are good; the main advantage of sound off is that you can keep standard heads underneath and remove them more easily than mesh head when you have the opportunity to play freely without disturbing the neighbors.

Good robust material
Like the title says, decent material. The bounce of the sticks does not feel completely like it does on normal heads, but not much worse than other (more expensive) sound dampers you place on top of your normal heads! Muffle they do! The sound is considerably lessened, so perfect for practice without the neighbors getting deafened.

Perfect
These are exactly what I needed for my kit, very quiet, and although they do not feel exactly like real drums, that is to be expecteed, but they feel close enough for them to still be useful to practice with. Definetly worth buying if you do not want to annoy your neighbours.

Do the job
These dampers do a good job at reducing the volume of the kit, I'd estimate by about 70%. They don't reduce the volume as much as mesh heads, but when you only have one kit these are more convenient since they only take about 30 seconds to set up or remove. I recommend that you turn off the snare wires while using them as this reduces the volume even more. The rebound is a little bit reduced but this makes these mats pretty useful for working on exercises or rudiments, sort of like those workout practice pads with less rebound. I use these with the meinl cymbal dampers and a tama soft sound beater. They do smell a bit like a bike shop but this smell goes away with time.

Great value for a great product
Perfect for practicing at home, really mutes the drums to be able to practice anytime of the day. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to play all night without wanting their neighbours to kill them!

Gute Dämpfung
Für den Preis super. Dämpfen sehr gut. Eventuell sogar zu gut. Die unterschiedliche Töne der Toms sind kaum mehr zu spüren, dafür bin ich mir aber sicher dass ich meine Nachbarn nicht störe. Der Rückschlag ist leider nicht sehr gut.

Just right
I have to practice in a basement with other 2 families in the house so i needed these things to mute my Yamaha Stage custom and Iam really really satisfied with them.The only problem I have sometimes that the rubber thing just jumps off the snare when I hit it stronger.Other than that ,its really worth buying !
