Great Sound A-String Defect
The medium scale strings were just about the right length for my Hofner violin bass. I will be getting long scale next time, although it seems Hofner does not make them.
The problem I have is that one of the strings - the 3rd string - is defect. It makes a rattling sound when played. The other strings sound just great and I can't wait to start playing with these new strings - all of them :) I will try and return the whole set and hopefully Thomann will send me a replacement.

Sköna strängar, men E-strängen är lite för stum, dålig klang i den.
