The Harley Benton SC-Custom III Active WH Guitar is extraordinarily high quality and amazing value for money. Straight out of the Box the Harley Benton guitar impressed, a beautiful guitar with a perfect finish, a very well cut graphite nut, very low string action of less than 2mm at the 24 fret, perfect neck relief, all factory specifications are exact, and the sound quality is excellent. All the precision that has been put into the build on this guitar makes it an extremely comfortable and easy guitar to play.
I've been playing guitar for 55 years, and I have many guitars in my collection, this Harley Benton guitar feels and plays just as well as my Fender and Gibson guitars, and I can see that this Harley Benton guitar is going to quickly become one of my favorites. I was looking for a 24 fret guitar and decided to give Harley Benton a try as the specs for the price looked just too good.

The guitar arrived absolutely spotless and looks incredible.

Out of the box the setup was decent and playable even the intonation was on point, however I did need to do a little work on the nut as it had a bit of extra "meat" on.
I needed to file the string slots as well a bit to properly accommodate the thicker strings I wanted to put on (52-11) and tune to D standard.
After that and a slight truss rod adjustment the guitar has been hard to put down.

It plays well the neck is comfortable and feels fast. The pickups sound great and give good sustain. The guitar itself is well balanced and like I said looks are absolutely killer!
