Feels just fine. I nearly lost the locking part when dressing the frets outdoors. I guess the vibrations from the file made the loose screw (I didn't have any strings on) unscrew itself totally and fall off. I found it later in the grass (very easy to put back), but in the meantime I discovered that the tuner worked fine as a traditional non locking tuner if the screw is missing. And with the screws in place it simplifies things in a nice way. Feels reliable.

They work like a charm and do it for a pretty cheap price. Installed them on loads of guitars and havn't had any problems what so ever.
