I bought this to do some mods to, then tour with.
And I am NOT disappointed in the least! The satin neck is super comfotable, it stays in tune great and it looks the part!
The laminate back and sides do make the sound more mid focused, but in the conext of the band that may even be beneficial!
I added the LR Baggs Anthem pickup to make the plugged in sound more acoustic sounding (the built in preamp sounds as bad as any built in acoustic tone) and added 12 locking tuners to the headstock, making restringing even more stable. I even bought a hardcase for it.
Now I have the ultimate gigging 12-string and in total I think I came in at roughly 1k! WELL worth it!!!
