Graph Tech PT-4000-00 XL Jumbo Trem Nut

The nut is one of the most important parts of a musical instrument. "Graphtech Black TUSQ" is saturated with the slippery substance on the planet. If you have "Graphtech Black TUSQ", your guitar will be in tune even after 1000 bends. That's why I replaced nuts on all my electric guitars with "Graphtech Black TUSQ".

I used this blank to shape a nut for a custom made strat which has a wider neck than standard. It worked like a charm. The material is easy to work with, and polishes nicely.

This isn't the first time I've used Graph Tech products. I've now got three guitars with TusqXL nuts, plus one with their Ghost system. Everything works well and their customer support is both responsive and helpful.

The nuts are effective - tuning stability has improved on every for I've used them on. They're also very easy to work, so filing to the right size it's not an arduous process.
