A quality product, well designed. I managed to install this with a drill and a chisel. Not the best way, but it fits fine.
The question is, is it really necessary? If I were to do it again, I'd probably carve a battery compartment into the bass and make a screw on, or magnetic cover. That really comes down to, what you want.
