Perfect first desk

Bought this without really knowing what to expect. I'd looked at a few different desks, but settled on this since it has what I need and is fairly cheap.

Construction is sturdy with the exception of the left rotating monitor stand, which tilts a bit no matter how much I tweaked and turned the screws. It's a minimal tilt, though, so it doesn't bother me that much.
No sharp corners or edges. The metal pieces can be a bit prickly, but if you get hurt handling those, I'd say that's on you for not being careful.

The color is all right. It's not as naturally "wooden looking" as it is on the picture, but has a grey-ish tint, but that's fine. Function over fashion, right?
Speaking of function, for a mid to high-tier producer, this desk would not be enough. 4 rack-spaces is enough for me and most likely the majority of bedroom musicians, but if you are a 'serious' producer, you will likely find better value in another desk that has more space for outboard gear.
What else... The small space in the middle of the desk is quite nice to put minor disposable things.
The pull out board for synths/keyboard is nice and smooth, though it feels like it would likely collapse if you put too much weight on it. No biggie, unless you're a person who ragequits and smashes their hand on the keyboard when recording doesn't go well.

All in all, a fine desk for the bedroom producer!

Looks even better in person and is so well designed. Thoroughly impressed, as good quality as I’ve experienced having set up a few home studios. Absolutely love this desk and would recommend the Glorious Workbench to anyone!

Finally!

Finally my home studio feels like a studio. Sturdy, with lots of space (except maybe if you want to use two screens). The pull-out drawer height can easily be adjusted to fit your MIDI keys. The finish looks great too.
