Gewa Floor Protection Strap Bass

I have this strap attached to my bass stool at all times and I play in a lot of dirrent places so theres a lot of moving around going on. Already after 3 months use I see what i think will be a big hole after the end pin. Also this 'sticky' rubby on the others side insen't really doing it's job. It's mostly absorbing dust. Thirdly the unit that adjusts the length isn't really keeping it very well so I have to refit it once every second day or so. Still It was a nice price and I'm pretty settled with it cos i think I'll just sew it to a fixed length soon.
