Gewa Chinrest Guarneri Boxwood

I bought this to replace my black stock chin rest, mostly for aesthetic reasoning. While I also intended to shape the chin rest to fit my jawbone with a multi-tool and some foam.

Therefore I cannot say anything about the fit and or the grip itself. Other than it was bigger than the stock chin rest that came with the Yamaha YEV-104 violin and more flatter. I would assume the rest is for larger faces since my face is more or less medium size with a sharp/bony lower jawbone (I'm 172 cm long and slender).

The finish and wood itself is very much appreciated, and it looks good! The structure seems solid.
