Fender Vintera II 50s Jazzmaster SB

Ich habe diese Gitarre für meinen Grunge/Shoegazer Sound gekauft und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Pickups sind Klasse abgestimmt und passen dafür wunderbar. Der Rosewoodneck liegt gut in der Hand das Vibrato funktioniert sehr gut. Die Farbe und Verarbeitung sind super, habe keine Lackschäden oder ähnliches gefunden. Den Steg habe ich gegen einen Staytrem ausgetauscht und kann Diesen hier nicht bewerten.
Was leider die Stimmung ein bißchen getrübt hat, war das miese Setup aus der Fender Factory. Der Hals war schräg in der Halstasche, die hohe E-Saite war nicht mal mehr auf dem Griffbrett. Die Saitenlage war viel zu hoch, der Hals hat ein Shim gebraucht. Die Pickupshöhe war nicht ausgewogen, die tiefen Saiten waren viel zu laut. Das Griffbrett war absolut trocken, die Bünde 1-4 waren nicht poliert und haben bei Bends gehackt. Das sind alles Kleinigkeiten die mit ein bißchen Erfahrung und Geschick in Ordnung gebracht werden können, allerdings erwarte ich von einer 1000€+ Gitarre mit dem Namen Fender etwas anderes.

Pros:

-the neck is beautiful (finish, color, paint etc) round yet not thick, suitable for medium-small hands as well
-the whole guitar looks and feels awesome

Cons:
-the vintage voiced pickups are pretty overwound, they sound ok, but I wouldn't say they're vintage sounding JM single-coils - swapped them for a Pure Vintage set
-buzz-buzz-buzz - the bridge rattles like hell, even after a professional luthier setup, told it to Fender, they said I'd should buy a staytrem (They think it's ok. I cannot believe this.)
-The vibrato arm (no, it's not a trem) falls out of the socket easily. Come on, it wasn't a cheap guitar...

But to sum it all. I'll repair anything that's necessary here, because it looks and feels awesome.

I am a solo experimental performer based in Berlin, and I bought this guitar to replace my Gibson SG. I was looking for something with more "air" and texture for ambient looping and synth pedals, and the Vintera II '50s Jazzmaster (Sonic Blue) has exceeded every expectation.
The Sound:
Coming from an SG, the difference is massive. The SG is a mid-range punch, but this Jazzmaster is a full-range "sonic wave." The clean tones are sparkling and huge, which makes it the perfect platform for my pedalboard (reverb, delay, and synth layers). It creates a "space" in the mix that I couldn't get before.
The Feel:
Be aware: the longer scale length and 7.25" radius require more "conscious" playing than a Gibson. You have to be present with every note. But this tension is exactly what makes the sound so snappy and precise.
The Crucial Upgrade:
The original threaded bridge is historically accurate, but for modern playing, it can be unstable. I immediately swapped it for a Fender Mustang Bridge (7.25" Radius). This was the game-changer. It kept the vintage vibe but made the tuning rock-solid and the sustain incredible.
Verdict:
If you are looking for a guitar that feels like a dedicated instrument for soundscapes and textures, this is "The One." I honestly can't put it down.
