Out of the box it needs some setup, action is very high, intonation was okay but could use a few tricks.
Build quality is pretty decent, I can't complain about any particular issue. The bar works smoothly and it's very fun and easy to play. No issue with frets, or the tuning pegs.
I liked the strings okay, too. Maybe the bottom one could have been just a little bit heavier, but I also play a half step down.
My biggest complaint is the feedback and noise when you have a single pickup selected.
If you wanna play dirty sounds with only one pickup engaged, good luck.
My guess is that it could be improved with strengthened shielding and fixing any issues with the grounding.
The noise improves significantly when you engage the of the opposite phase pickups (b&m, n&m, or all 3) as it is the issue with many single coil affordable guitars/basses.
The aesthetics are awesome, the paint, the pickguard, the finish on the neck, the binding, and the inlays are all beautiful.
I'm happy that I bought it, also this thing is heavy and pretty big around the size of a standard bass (because the bridge is placed where it would be on a guitar this adds height)
