Fane Sovereign Pro 12-500

Ive build a Heresy inspired DIY speaker with this driver as low end combined with a mid horn and a super tweeter in a 3-way passive solution cut around 1,6kHz for low/mid. Sound is really great, the bass from these drivers are dynamic large and deeper than expected in a 60l ported cabinet. The speaker plays with big authority for home use. The die cast chassis and the monster magnet of this driver indicate durability also at higher volumes but this is yet to be tested. For PA use I would use an active subsonic / high pass filter to reduce excursion below 50-80Hz and add a 18" sub for larger venues but for home stereo use I see no such need (yet).
