EV Suspension Cord 309

Although the Electrovoice 309A suspension mount is a nice robust design, the rubber suspension bands are not. I have had one break within a year. My mount was used in a studio setting and was never subjected to any abuse. The rubber band just snapped where it met the moulded end. It appears that the design is too weak, i.e. there is not enough material in the bands to take the tension.
