ESP LTD Iron Cross SW

I have played this for nearly a year now and here is the final review for it:

Pros:
-It sounds very much like Metallica. assuming you buy this because you are a fan, you won't be disappointed. the pickups and the sound of this guitar is absolutely fantastic. consistently fantastic. and it is versatile, you can get a lot more out of it than just signature JH sound.
-It looks awesome, its different than most other guitars with the raised metal iron cross.
-Its light and fast, you can pick it up and play, its easy, its light and it is fast.

Cons:
Guitar came with multiple finnish issues, paint job wasn't great around the neck joint and on the neck itself which is a bummer.

Worth saying this has been my first guitar and after this, every other budget guitar i played feels terrible. which isn't great haha.

Amazing quality from LTD. Such a joy to hold and play this one.
The pickups are simply amazing, trust me they are not just for metal ! You can get some amazing clean sounds. Both the neck and bridge pickups are well-balanced, you don't get exaggerated level of frequencies [between low and high] when switching between both.

I ordered from thomann with a service quality check from them, and got the one made in korea. The guitar came in impecabble, I only had to adjust the string action as per my liking which is extremely easy to do on this one.

As per my knowledge, the ltd is also made in indonesia. Mine comes with the ebony fingerboard and the indonesian one might come with macassar ebony, which is more brownish. I would advise you to check with thomann before ordering.

All in all, I am extremely satisfied with this guitar. I owned some budget friendly guitars before this and would encounter all sort of issues, from scratch noises to a uncontrollable variables [difference in sound outputs between pickups, ]. Good gear does make a difference ! Of course, time will tell for this one, but according to various online reviews, everyone seems to satisfied with ltd quality and particular this one.

I really wanted this one, unfortunately there is no getting it where im from.
Last time i tried to order a guitar from Thomann i didn't have a very good experience, not because of the quality of the guitar but because of it's stock status.
Naturally i was pretty stressed about this order.
i got the guitar after a week, very quick shipping, came in wrapped up in 2 cardboard boxes which looked like it was pretty safe.
i opened the box and there it was.
it had sawdust all over, dont really know why (as if it came straight from the CNC machine.
Aside from the sawdust ,i went over it and didn't notice any visible issues.
the only reason it's not 5/5 is because it was 3 days delayed because information Thomann needed to pass to UPS (and in my opinion took too long).
Aside from that great sounding guitar, visibly beautiful and im very happy with it.
My recommendation is only purchase in stock guitar.

Eine wirklich mega Gitarre - TOP Verabreitung und Setup
Bei mir kam die Gitarre dank Express LIeferung innerhlab von 1.5 Tagen an - alls perfekt hergerichtet und eingestellt - musste kurz die Saiten stimmen und konnte direkt loslegen.

Verarbeitung TOP - die meisten Kritikpunkte aus verschiedenen Youtube Videos, zB Sitz der Drehregler, Verarbeitungsqualität kann ich ehrlich gesagt nicht nachvollziehem - bei mir kam sie perfekt an - keine Abstände in den verschiedenen Komponenten, alles fest geschraubt, Lack TOP einfach Genial.

Der Sound haut mich vom Hocker - beim Blind Test fand ich die LTD selbst besser als die ESP Iron Star (wobei ich das Hertige und Produkttionsthema absolut verstehe nachvollziehen kann) als reines Spaß und Gitarre für den jeden Tag finde ich den Aufpreis von 5k EUR zumindest für mich nicht [aktuell] gerechtfertigt). Slides, Bends, Pull Offs und Hammer ons - endlich geil - macht mega, mega Spass - genau so muss es sein - schade, dass ich die nicht vorher in den Händen hatte ...

Einziger Kritikpunkt - hätte mir eine kleine Schaltungsgrafik für die Regler und Schalter gewünscht - aber der beim Hersteller ist es direkt auf der entsprechenden Seite hinterlegt - also Schwamm drüber.

Freue mich absolut auf die Gitarre und berichte Euch nach ein paar Wochen.
