Little bit to expensive for small piece of metal. Nothing impressive really about the design.
Biggest minus is that stackables wont fit very good with the holes, they are very tight so after multiple usages cable inside can be damaged.
The quality is great and sturdy, I could organise all my patch cables finally.
Two minor issues:
- it's not recommended for Tip Top Audio stack cables as they are thick enough to not enter easily in the metal openings.
- the screws are kind of a weird measure, something between around 5mm but not 5mm, so I used a couple of screws that I already have in order to fix in on the wall (so no significant problem at the end)
I still recommend it because of the high quality
I held back for ages deciding if this was going to be worth it. Why did i wait so long. Really nice product. Works very well with all the varying types of cables i have built up. The slimmer cables that hang straight will work the best though with product.
This product has brought joy to the patching & unpatching process. You need this.
The tool is used to hold synthesizer minijack cables, but for most cable brands, the slot for the cables is too narrow, which pinches the cable, making it difficult to insert and remove. It's quite surprising that they didn't make it slightly wider, as there's plenty of room to do so while still holding the cable securely.
Product is very good quality, it is fixed to the end of my desk and is very solid. However, important to remember it is designed for 'regular' thickness eurorack cables - I have a few braided eurorack cables and they are a tighter fit on the rack. Can fit a lot of cables on the rack, each line fits roughly 10/11 cables, so a total of around 150/160 cables
Gap between the holders for the cable could be a little bigger (some cable types will push the holders away and damage them). Could be of better quality
