Received this guitar damaged twice in Romania.

I want to start by mentioning that bad review is not about the guitat, but about the experience. I order this guitar twice. First time by the end of november 2024 and when I received it, after playing about a few minutes I observed that it had two simetrical fisures at the top side, near the neck. I returned the guitar and order another one as it would have been faster than waiting for the replacement. After a while I received the second guitar and it had exactly the same issue. The Thomann team suggested second time that it may have been the delivery process that broke it, but I doubt that because the package looked pretty good, no observable traces of hit and also the guitar was well packed with two boxes and the hard shell. My opinion is that maybe this batch had some manufacturing issues as the damage is identical. Unfortunatley I do not see the option to attach photos in order to let you see the damaged area in order to make you aware of to what area to pay attention.

Regarding the guitar itself, as mentioned above I played it a little on the first one before seeing the damage and I can say I was impressed, the reason why I ordered the second one.

As a conclusion, I recommend this model, but at the moment I wouldn’t order it from Thomann after this experience.

Diese ES 335 von Epiphone ist absolut empfehlenswert.

Eine Gibson ES 335 ist mir das erste mal 1970 über den Weg gelaufen. Ein Gitarrero meiner damaligen Kombo, hatte sich diesen Traum erfüllt. Ich war von Anfang an begeistert von dieser Gibson Gitarre.
War aber für mich unerschwinglich.
Mitte den Jahren habe ich immer mal wieder Plagiate dieser Gitarre gekauft.
Alle diese Käufe hätte ich mir sparen können
Was soll ich sagen, plötzlich taucht da diese Modell von Epiphone am Markt auf . Bevor ich sie bei Thomann bestellt habe, habe ich alles erdenkliche über diese Model im Netz recherchiert.
Nach der Bestellung ist die ES nach ca. 2 Wochen eingetroffen.
Nach dem Auspacken war ein großes „WOW“ aus meinem Mund gekommen. Ich war begeistert. Tadelloser Verarbeitung , keine Fehler, gute Saitenlage.
Diese Gitarre ist handwerklich einwandfrei gebaut.
Klanglich lassen die beiden Humbucker keine Wünsche offen.
Durch Push Pull werden Singlecoils aus ihnen.
Sehr interessant auch in Kombination.
Die Sahnehaube kommt wenn die beiden Humbucker Phasenverschoben werden. Auch durch ein Push Pull Poti.
Der Hals ist Fett und die Gitarre klingt mit u. ohne Amp sehr gut.
Die Töne stehen wie eine Eins. Die reine Sahne.
Gefühlvolles Spiel ist absolut möglich.
Jetzt nach 54 Jahren habe ich eine ES 335 gefunden die mein Haus nicht mehr verlassen wird.
Absolute Kaufempfehlung von mir.
Hier stimmt alles, Preis und Leistung.

J'ai acheter cette guitare en pensent que le "qualité" serait quand même de mise.
Une fois déballé et bien regardé , belle de loin mais de prêt outch.
l’intérieure des ouïes sont peinte au pinceau et cela se voir car le peintre a déborder derrière le pic gard , donc une trace de pinceau de 2 cm se balade sur la table.
Le son est dégueulasse et les frettes sont tranchante.
Le contrôle qualité niveau zéro.
850e est même pas digne d'une Harley benton.
Guitare retourné le lendemain.
